My name is Aikaterini (or Katerina) Niniou and I am originally from Greece, but moved to Luxembourg in 2013, where I graduated from the European School of Luxembourg in July 2020. In 2019, I attended the Summer School of Bocconi University, with courses on Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing. In July 2023, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Media Design and Multimedia Arts, majoring in Film-making. I have produced and directed several different projects, including advertising campaigns and short films.
Since my graduation, I completed a Production Assistant internship at the Luxembourgish production company Dividante, as well as a Marketing Internship in Marbrerie Bertrand. I recently wrote and directed a short film titled Our Last Night On Earth (2025), which is supported by Luxembourg Film Fund. Currently, I am working on two short films which are in their development phase.
Furthermore, I have worked as a 1st Assistant Director in projects such as the music video Wéineg Schloof (2025) by artist Skuto, and the short musical Quartier Italien (2025), which won two awards within the Lost Weekend competition of Luxembourg City Film Festival.
The multicultural environment, which I'm daily surrounded by, has made me keen to seek new perspectives and has helped me learn to treat projects with an innovative, enthusiastic and open minded approach. I speak English, Greek, Italian and French.
